Sometimes you read album reviews and think “what did this guy expect”... this is a 5 star great album, the version of Like a Rolling Stone (I always got the vibe that this version and Pretty Pink Rose from Belew's Young Lions is what Bowie really wanted Tin Machine to sound like, especially after listening to Tin Machine II) Mellencamp does his thing, Ian Hunter in good form, a very good recording of Wembley Mercury's Concert... now, if you don't like this music, move on.

Having just listened to my iTunes collection of Ian Hunter's old stuff and re-appreciated the guitar playing I've been browsing Mick Ronson's albums. Not as out-and-out rocky as the old stoff, occasionally, however, there's a track that emulates the energy and feel of Hunter's albums. If you're an old fart, ex-hippy like me, (63 now) give both Hunter and Ronson a listen ..and smile.
