Jars of Clay is a highly creative, poetic, musically sound, highly spiritual band who are also very very humble. I love this album and all of their other albums as I am a man in search of answers about God and life, and this band seems to hit the nail deep into my wall by their thought provoking songs. Those who love high quality acoustic sounds and spiritual songs will love this fantastic album. "Flood" is an awesome song with amazing guitars which talks about man who is struggling to win over temptations which strike him when he is at his weakest self. This song has quoted the temptation of Jesus for 40 days from the Bible as the best example of how a man should resist sin's calls. "Liquid" talks about the sacrifice made by a great man for the wrongs of the world, and it has good violin & guitars."I need you" is a man's soul's call to God for his inner needs, & its one of my favorites as it makes me wanna cry. "Grace" is a simple yet powerful song about God's grace which overflows and "World's apart" has got a haunting feel with its chanting nature and soul touching lyrics. "Unforgetful you" is like a conversation between an erring man and God & its very catchy & simple. "Love song for a savior" is highly romantic yet spiritual, & that's the beauty.Finally don't trade our love for "Tea and sympathy" and "Fade to grey"have killer lyrics and sound that make one want to listen again & again, though I am yet to figure out the meaning of the songs. Overall its a good collection of Jars of Clay songs in one compilation.
