Its rock and roll ....... Most people listening to music now would rather have a cookie cutter music that all sounds the same like those fake vocal shows on tv. These guys are not like that......Thankfully. Its good to hear some kick ass music......

After listening to Starcatcher and then Black Smoke Rising, I have to agree with the other review about the vocals on Starcatcher. The vocals are strained and tenuous compared to the natural vocals of Black Smoke Rising. Gone is the Zeppelin imitation musicianship that made Greta Van Fleet popular in the first place, replaced by whatever is played on Starcatcher. I don't know, but sometimes a band's musical evolution is actually a step backwards. And that is exactly what GVF has done here.

Such an overrated band with a vocalist that severely grates on the nerves.....Like an elf from gleep-glop land.
