Totally agree with the last reviewer. Have been playing the hell out of this since it came out in 2011. It sounds even better today!
Unbelievable album, the world should be going crazy for this. Maybe its too much for some folks, or maybe just not enough marketing.
Bottom line - this collaboration of incredible talent is inspiring. Bringing East and West, old and young, black and white, together in one band just works. They sound like they had a ball making this music, and it sure makes you wanna bop along with it.
Jagger's presence is huge and rich, but cannot overshadow Josss incredible voice and her passion, wow!
Bob Marleys youngest son Damien provide a great foil to Jagger and Joss with his reggae vocals, the whole thing backed by Bobs Wailers bass and drummer. This record rocks.
Dave Stewarts intelligent arrangements, a true musical genius whos presence is felt throughout, blending so well with the eastern feel that Rahman brings.
Stand out tracks "Miracle Worker incredible Jagger lyrics, the amazing "Beautiful People a great showcase for Josss voice, World keeps turning, the shivers go down your neck when her voice comes in, a truly magnificent soul singer ranking amongst the best the world has seen, and so young, incredible.
