I got this audio cassette at my town library probably sometime in the early 1990's. I never heard of Julie Cruise, but the album art and the song titles caught my attention. When I started to play the album at home, right away I noticed a real style to the atmosphere of the music. I have to say it is a little mellow and soft, but the music and singing from Julie Cruise is well done and different than what you might hear on the radio. "Falling" is one of my favorites that comes off smooth and beautiful. "Into the Night" is another good one that has that same feel that is found throughout the entire album. I didn't rate this album a perfect 5 stars because it seems to be mellow throughout the album and there is no variety in the songs for maybe having a more upbeat sound. Don't get me wrong. this is a great work from Julie Cruise. A lot of people don't know who Julie Cruise is, I just wish she was more famous!
