I am giving the band 4 stars for their latest release.
You can only ever give an album 5 stars when it's amazing, original, technically brilliant and you can't stop listening to it.
Very few band's can achieve that level of greatness.
With Metallica's latest release, they have simply gone back to doing what they do best..... being Metallica!
This has the energy and pace of a band at there very best.
They could have tried to re-invent themselves but they didn't. They stayed true to what they do best, what the fans always wanted from them.
It's simply Metallica, being Metalica, and being awesome at it!

Clearly people will consider this a mainstream radio friendly effort by Metallica and thus be critical. I however prefer this sound and loved the Black album and Load. Some excellent stuff on here!
