The first impression is that Peter Gabriel has a pseudo alter ego of sort in this band. Then you'll feel the darkness of the lyrics and melodies and realize that this is more to this. It feels so genuine you'll somehow feel the anguish of some songs. A bit of research will make you realize why this is once you find out that the band had to go on hiatus for a bit while the lead singer had to take time "off" for metal anxiety.
One of the best albums I've heard in years.
